Read the reference month
The reference month is the month the figures describe. The table starts with the 20 February 2026 release for December 2025 data and ends with the 23 December 2026 release for November 2026 data. Match each publication date to its reference month when following PCE inflation.
Check the January exception
Before the 12 releases in the table, a combined Personal Income and Outlays release on 22 January 2026 at 10:00 Eastern Time covered October and November 2025. That earlier release is separate from the table's February to December schedule, where each release is at 08:30 Eastern Time.
