Follow changes to the public website, documentation, and API availability.
Economic data pages
- Added pages for each country and its indicators, with history charts, CSV downloads and embeds.
- Added cross-country views for each indicator, economic calendars by country and month, and yield curves.
- English country coverage pages now redirect to their data pages.
Events and webhooks
- Added GET /v1/events and the /v1/events/stream WebSocket, with replay cursors.
- Added webhook destinations with signed, at-least-once delivery, delivery history and replay.
- Added prediction.event.closed and prediction.event.settled for the predictions family.
FX now covers 144 currencies
- Added 113 currencies to rates, history and conversion.
- Requests for the original 31 currencies stay unchanged.
Metals and FX price history
- Added GET /v1/commodities/spot/{commodity}/{currency}/bars and commodities_get_price_history for gold, silver, platinum and palladium.
- Added GET /v1/fx/rates/{base}/bars and fx_get_rate_bars for one currency against USD.
- Bars use 1m, 5m, 15m, 1h, 4h and 1d intervals. Minute bars cover the last 30 days; hourly and daily bars remain indefinitely, within your plan's history window.
Monthly commodity benchmarks and price history
- Added monthly benchmarks to the existing physical series endpoints for discovery, details, latest prices and observations. REST and MCP use the same series IDs.
- Coverage spans softs, oils and oilseeds, metals, grains, energy, fertilizers, forestry, and livestock and dairy. All prices use USD, with published units and quantities preserved.
- The latest available month is September 2026. Some series start later or have ended. Each series reports its own coverage dates.
- Added the historical commodity prices API page, copper response examples and the complete monthly benchmark coverage list.
US gasoline and diesel retail prices
- Added four REST and MCP operations under /v1/commodities/physical/series for discovery, series details, the latest price and observations.
- Added 20 weekly series for regular gasoline and No. 2 on-highway diesel. Each covers the US average and nine regions in USD per US gallon.
- History contains 12 weeks from 20 July through 5 October 2026. Updates follow the Monday survey. Responses retain dates, decimal-string prices, nullable publication dates, revisions and attribution.
WTI, Brent and copper reference prices
- Added WTI and BRENT in USD per barrel and XCU in USD per pound to GET /v1/commodities/spot/{commodity}/{currency} and commodities_get_spot_price.
- These are reference prices derived from futures markets, not physical spot cargo prices. Response fields and the stale flag are unchanged.
- WTI and BRENT price history is available through GET /v1/commodities/spot/{commodity}/USD/bars and commodities_get_price_history, with the same intervals and rules as metals. Copper supports the latest price only.
Platinum and palladium spot prices added
- Added XPT and XPD spot prices in USD through REST and MCP.
- Gold and silver are unchanged: gold in 31 currencies, silver in USD.
Spot bid and ask fields removed
- Removed bid and ask from spot responses. Remaining fields: symbol, price, currency, unit, timestamp, stale.
More value types for economic release indicators
- Added annualization to every indicator, always set to annualized or not_annualized.
- Added currency, ratio, and balance units alongside index, percent, and thousands, with currency (ISO 4217 code) and scale (units, thousands, millions, hundred_millions, billions) only on currency amounts.
- Added quarter_over_quarter, three_month_on_three_month, and change transformations alongside level, month_over_month, and year_over_year.
- Allowed reference_period and value periods to use week-ending dates (YYYY-MM-DD) and rolling three-month windows (YYYY-MM/YYYY-MM), alongside existing months (YYYY-MM) and quarters (YYYY-Qn).
- Clarified that future enum values may appear in these fields and clients should accept unknown values rather than fail parsing.
Historical FX observations are live
- Added GET /v1/fx/rates/{base}/observations and fx_get_rate_history.
- Added inclusive date ranges, bounded date pages, and filter-bound opaque cursors for full-history backfills.
- Preserved genuine observation dates without weekend, holiday, or missing-currency forward fills.
