Read the provisional and final dates
Each reference month has a provisional CPI release at month end and a final release about two weeks later. The December 2025 figures were provisionally released on 6 January 2026 and finalised on 16 January 2026. Use the reference month to match both releases to the same data period.
Follow December data into January 2027
The table includes the provisional release on 5 January 2027 and the final release on 15 January 2027 because both cover December 2026 data. Each date has an 08:00 German time publication time. Germany uses CET or CEST according to the release date.
