Match each date to its reference month
The reference month is the month the figures describe. The release on 28 January 2026 covers December 2025 data, while the release on 24 March 2027 covers February 2027 data. Read the reference month alongside the publication date.
Use the monthly CPI schedule
Monthly CPI is now the headline measure. The last separate quarterly CPI covered the September quarter 2025, so there is no quarterly CPI release in 2026.
Releases are scheduled for 11:30 Canberra time. Canberra uses AEDT in summer and AEST in winter.
Check the source and API coverage
The schedule was checked on 14 October 2026 against the ABS release calendar. Check that official calendar when confirming a publication date.
Narwhal's Economic calendar API includes Australia consumer prices. Use the table above to read the dates and reference months, or the calendar API for scheduled releases.
