Names only

Holder records contain names, never addresses or personal ID numbers.

A security object carries class, type and isin when the filing names a security.

holder: Holder's name, without an address or personal ID number
percent: Ownership percentage as written in the filing; 5.12 means 5.12%
shares: Number of shares reported for the holder
event_date: Date of the ownership event reported in the filing
filed: Date the ownership filing was filed
filing_id: Identifier for the ownership filing reporting the holding
security: Security class, type and isin when the filing names a security

The holders endpoint covers holders of 5% or more as reported in ownership filings.

Which dates and filing references are returned?

Each holder record includes event_date, filed and filing_id, alongside the holder name, percent and shares.

Can I request holders using a ticker alias?

The endpoint accepts a company identifier such as usa:0000789019, as well as an accepted alias such as usa:MSFT.
