Four kinds of official release
Narwhal currently stores official inflation, labour, GDP, and merchandise-trade publications for every live country. Most inflation and trade releases are monthly. GDP is quarterly. Labour cadence is monthly or quarterly, depending on the official source.
The source remains visible. Coverage comes from agencies including the ABS, Statistics Canada, Destatis, INSEE, the ONS, Japan's national statistics agencies, DOSM, SingStat, the BLS, the BEA, and the US Census Bureau.
Nine operations are public
One official publication can contain several useful measures. The inflation release supports CPI and inflation operations. The labour release supports unemployment and labour-force participation. The GDP release supports GDP and GDP growth. Trade supports the balance, exports, and imports operations.
- Consumer Price Index and inflation
- Unemployment and labour-force participation
- Gross Domestic Product and GDP growth
- Merchandise trade, exports, and imports
The contract stays the same across countries
Each live country uses the same operation paths and response structure. Change the three-letter country code in the path; the operation contract stays the same. Country pages show the publisher, currency, cadence, and exact paths for that market.
What is not public
Indonesia-specific data, regional aggregates, commodities, and foreign-exchange endpoints are not part of the public beta. They are not listed as available coverage, and they do not appear in the public OpenAPI document.
